Whenever Christians tell others about Jesus Christ, the gospel is an integral part of the message. (Romans 1:16) The word gospel simply means “good news”. In actuality, it’s wonderful, fantastic, and amazing news! But not until you understand what makes it so good.
Ironically, the gospel must begin with some very bad news if it’s to make any sense at all. And a faithful Christian will not shrink from declaring the whole counsel of God to you. (Acts 20:27) That is a good thing, and it is precisely this message of truth that you desperately need to hear!
“Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” ~ Revelation 7:10
The great heavenly scene in Revelation 7 depicts Jesus Christ enthroned in glory. He is the King of kings, and the Lord of lords. That is who He is at this very moment and for all eternity. He is the One who has redeemed a people for Himself, and is deserving of all honor, praise, and glory!
One day, dear reader, you will die and stand before God and be judged. One day, you will give an account to your Creator. (2 Timothy 4:1, Hebrews 4:13, 9:27) Please don’t die in your sins, having rejected Jesus Christ. (John 8:24) Don’t continue to harden your heart toward God. (Romans 2:4-5) Turn to Christ now in repentance and faith, and live! (Mark 1:14-15) Our prayer for you is that you would follow and serve Jesus Christ for the remaining days God has ordained for you! He alone is worthy.
